Title: Creating Meaningful Conversations - First step in Community Building
Facilitator: Gisou Eskandarian
Description: An interactive workshop on how to elevate the mundane daily conversations with your friends, neighbors, or colleagues. Emphasis will be on studying related Guidance, applying the guidance to real life situations and role-play practices with emphasis on introducing JYG to pre teens, teens, young adults, and parents.
Title: The Spiritual Education of Children: Part 1
Facilitator: Diane Grych; Barbara Saar
Description: This workshop will begin with an explanation and description of the stages of young children’s spiritual development. This will be followed by an introduction to Ruhi Book 3—Teaching Children’s Classes—and how the material is used to train teachers to develop and teach children’s classes.

Description: This follow-up workshop will include hands-on applications of activities from Ruhi Book 3—Teaching Children’s Classes to reinforce and support what friends will have learned in The Spiritual Education of Children: Part 1.
There will be a variety of: Team-Building Exercises, Music, Art, Reflection, and the children will put together a UNITY video!

Title: Understanding a Programme of Growth

Description: Join us in learning about “the unfoldment of the process of growth in a cluster.” Begin to understand what this will look like in your cluster, the indicators that lead to it, what is needed for a cluster to strengthen its pattern of action, and the next steps.

Title: Understanding the Right of God (Huqúqu’lláh): Baháulláh’s Prescription for Spiritualizing Our Relationship

Description: We are excited to offer this course in Spanish! Through the curriculum we will study aspects of identity from a Bahá’í perspective: the study of the writings of Bahá’u’lláh and striving to increase the understanding of His teachings and applying them to our own daily lives and to the life of the community. The book consists of the units “Understanding the Bahá’í Writings”, “Prayer”, and “Life and Death”.

Our café encounter will expand our understanding of the meaning of community and how we can take our learning forward. We’ll come away with a renewed commitment to connecting hearts, deepening and extending the bonds of love and friendship in our neighborhoods and wider communities at home.
